User Agreement
Effective date: June 28, 2026
This User Agreement (the “Agreement”) governs the use of the Battlevellum website and its services (the “Service”) and is a public offer addressed to any individual (the “User”).
By registering, signing in, or otherwise using the Service, the User confirms that they have fully read, understood, and unconditionally accepted this Agreement. If the User does not agree with any of its terms, they must refrain from using the Service.
The Service is a tool for creating, storing, and displaying maps for tabletop role-playing games.
1. Terms and definitions
“Administration” — the owner and operator of the Service: an individual, Aleksandr Vyacheslavovich Papakhin (Папахин Александр Вячеславович), contact e-mail: battlevellum@yandex.ru, who manages its operation.
“User” — an individual who has accepted this Agreement and uses the Service.
“Account” — a record created upon registration that stores the User's e-mail address and access data.
“User Content” — maps, captions (labels), names, and other data created or uploaded by the User through the Service.
2. Subject of the Agreement
The Administration grants the User access to the Service's functionality on the terms of this Agreement, free of charge unless otherwise expressly stated.
The Service is provided on an “as is” basis. The Administration does not guarantee that the Service will meet the User's expectations or that it will operate without interruptions or errors.
3. Registration and account
To access certain features, the User registers an Account by providing an e-mail address and a password.
The User is responsible for the confidentiality of their access credentials and for all actions performed under their Account.
The User undertakes to provide accurate information and not to use other persons' data without authorization.
The Administration may suspend or delete an Account in case of a breach of this Agreement.
4. Terms of use
The User undertakes not to use the Service for unlawful purposes, not to disrupt its operation, and not to attempt unauthorized access to its systems or to other users' data.
It is prohibited to place in User Content materials that violate the law, third-party rights, or generally accepted standards of morality, including unlawful, offensive, or extremist materials.
The Administration may, without prior notice, remove User Content that violates this Agreement and restrict access to the Service.
5. User Content
The User retains the rights to the User Content they create, to the extent such rights belong to them by law.
The User is solely responsible for their User Content and warrants that it does not infringe third-party rights.
By placing User Content in the Service, the User grants the Administration the right to store, reproduce, and process it to the extent necessary for the Service to function.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, its software, design, databases, and the graphic asset set (sprites, textures, and other images) are the property of the Administration and are protected by law.
The User is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service's components solely within the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes, unless a separate agreement provides otherwise.
Copying, distribution, or other use of the Service's materials outside the Service without the Administration's consent is prohibited.
7. Personal data and privacy
By accepting this Agreement, the User consents to the processing of their personal data (e-mail address, and a password stored only in hashed form) for the purposes of providing the Service, in accordance with applicable law, including Federal Law of the Russian Federation No. 152-FZ “On Personal Data”.
The Service uses cookies and similar technologies, including a session cookie, a language-preference cookie, and web-analytics tools (Yandex.Metrica), to ensure operation and to improve the Service.
The User may withdraw consent and request deletion of their data by deleting their Account or by contacting the Administration.
8. Amendments to the Agreement
The Administration has the right, at any time and at its sole discretion, to unilaterally amend this Agreement WITHOUT prior notice to the User.
The new version takes effect from the moment it is published on the Service, unless a different effective date is specified therein.
The User undertakes to review the current version of the Agreement independently and on a regular basis. Continued use of the Service after changes are published constitutes the User's acceptance of the new version.
If the User does not agree with the changes, they must stop using the Service and may delete their Account.
9. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. The Administration is not liable for any direct or indirect losses arising from the use of or inability to use the Service.
The Administration is not responsible for the loss of User Content, for interruptions, or for the actions of third parties.
The User uses the Service at their own risk.
10. Term and termination
The Agreement takes effect upon acceptance and remains in force for an indefinite period.
The User may terminate the Agreement at any time by ceasing to use the Service and deleting their Account.
The Administration may restrict or terminate the User's access to the Service in case of a breach of this Agreement or for technical or other reasons.
11. Governing law and disputes
This Agreement is governed by the law of the Russian Federation.
Disputes are resolved through negotiation; if no agreement is reached, they are referred to the competent court at the location of the Administration, in accordance with applicable law.
12. Final provisions
If any provision of this Agreement is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force.
This Agreement is drawn up in Russian. Translations into other languages are provided for convenience only; in case of any discrepancy, the Russian-language version prevails.

By using the Service, the User confirms acceptance of this User Agreement.
